Armed Robbery - Victoria Wine, Clarkston Strathclyde Police is appealing for information following an armed robbery at Victoria Wine in Clarkston on Saturday 9 May 2009.

Today Neilston Councillor Elaine Green and I popped in to Neilston Friendship Club for a cup of tea and chat. I enjoyed discussing all issues of the day over a cup of tea and you can see what a great club it is for local residents.

Sir Terry Wogan said he may quit as the BBC's Eurovision commentator, as the UK entry sung by former X Factor finalist Andy Abraham finished in last place. Sir Terry cast doubt on his role after saying this year's results showed it was "no longer a music contest". Sir Terry, who has commentated on the competition since the 1970s, told BBC News: "I don't want to be presiding over yet another debacle."

Christian Aid week is from May 11th to 17th. Fundraising events are taking place throughout East Renfrewshire.
