You can be an MP- for a week!

Jim has welcomed a new game launched by the House of Commons Education Service. The game allows young people to try being an MP for the week.

It includes stepping into the shoes of an MP. Decide on laws, debate with other MPs, deal with the media, make a speech in the House of Commons Chamber and meet ministers and your constituents. Can you keep your party and your voters happy to survive the week?

"This is another fantastic educational tool launched by the House of Commons. The best way learn about the job of your MP is to have a try and I have to say the game is very realistic. We must always look at new ways to get young people involved in the political process and enjoy learning about politics and the impact it can have."
