Jim presents Aids Africa with Community Award

Jim visited the headquarters of local charity Aids Africa to present the founders with special Community Hero awards. Local Charity Aids Africa operates from the home of residents Catriona and Richard Kerr and provides for those who care for aids victims in Zambia and Malawi.



Jim said:

"I was delighted to meet up with Richard and Catriona and the team of volunteers who help organise and run such a special and important local charity. The work they do in collecting and sending out medical supplies and other items to those affected by aids in Zambia and Malawi should be applauded. They are wonderful example of a group dedicated to helping those less fortunate and to highlighting the great charity spirit which exists throughout East Renfrewshire."
